Who We Are
CHURCH FOR THE NATIONS has been serving the people of Downtown Oxnard and Ventura County for over 30 years and bringing the reality of God's Kingdom to others through our shared emphasis on faith, community, and service.

Our Mission
We exist to help people of all nations encounter God, receive grace, and become active members of Christ's body.

Our Three Distinctives
Church for the Nations has three distinctives which it considers central to its identity. We sum these distinctives up using the acrostic: A.I.M.

What Happens When You Visit?
Visiting a new church for the first time can be intimidating, so we want to make sure you are as comfortable as possible. Here are answers to some FAQs:

How long are services?
Our services include worship, announcements, and
a Biblical message, and are typically just over an
hour.

Is there anything for children?
Yes, our children's room provides a safe place
where children between the ages of 2 and 12 are
invited to learn about God through teaching and
a variety of fun activities.

Pastor Marc and Angela Simon began their ministry as church planters in the antelope valley, before answering the call to lead Church for the Nations in Oxnard, California. Pastor Marc holds graduate degrees in psychology, organizational leadership, and theology, and is a licensed counselor in the field of addictions. Angela Simon is currently working on her bachelor's degree in ministry & leadership, and mentors women struggling with addiction, trauma, and toxic relational patterns. Together they have witnessed many give their lives to the Lord, be baptized, and take up their cross as disciples of Jesus.

A - Actionable Teaching - Teaching that emphasizes "doing" as a part of the learning process.
I - Integrational Ministry - The prayerful integration of members into the actual ministry of the church.
M- Missional Living - A focus on living missionally in our respective homes, communities, and places of vocation.

What should I wear?
People at our services dress in a wide range of  styles, from jeans and t-shirts to suits and dresses. Come comfortably. All are welcome!

Will I be asked to give money?
We set apart time in each service to honor God through our giving. However, we believe that giving is a voluntary act and solely between the individual and God
