ReMend is a life recovery group that meets weekly at Church for the Nations. Our purpose is to offer compassionate and empowering solutions to those struggling with various difficulties in life. At ReMend, we believe that recovery is not just about overcoming compulsive drinking or drug use but is a process of healing for both addicts and non-addicts alike. This process involves re-mending the broken places in our lives through faith shared in community and a commitment to personal reformation (being "formed" in a new way) and change. Men and women in our community have found healing for issues ranging from habitual drug use to anxiousness, grief, and pornography. ReMend is overseen by our senior pastor, Marc Simon, who is also licensed in the state of California as a clinical counselor in the field of addictions (LAADC).
